Bio
Coach Jauz is a native of Midland, Texas, where he attended Midland High School. As a member of the varsity baseball team, he was named to the 6A All-State team in 2019 and as MHS MVP his senior year.
Cooper Jauz played collegiately at Midland College, Harding University, and Wayland Baptist University. As a captain at WBU, he helped lead his team to win its first ever Conference Championship. Jauz also represented the Sooner Athletic Conference as its representative on the NAIA Association of Student-Athletes 2024-2025.
Jauz graduated from WBU with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science with Coaching Specialization and a Master of Education in Sports Administration and Management.
Jauz joined the coaching staff at Western Texas College prior to the fall 2025 semester as Assistant Baseball Coach. He managed the team’s baseball operations and primarily focused on infielders. This Season he will serve as the Hitting Coach, and Recruiting Coordinator.
