Bio
Justin Davis enters his third season as Head Baseball Coach at Western Texas College after spending six years as an assistant and associate head coach, where he played a key role in the development of the Westerners' pitching staff, recruiting efforts, and overall player development.
Since taking over the program, Davis has continued to build an exciting brand of baseball centered on aggressive baserunning, offensive production, and player development. Under his leadership, the 2026 Westerners established one of the most explosive offenses in program history, setting new school records with 99 stolen bases and 84 team home runs in a single season. The record-setting offense reflected Davis's commitment to an aggressive, high-powered style of play that consistently put pressure on opposing defenses.
Prior to being named head coach, Davis spent six seasons on the Western Texas coaching staff, serving as the team's pitching coach while assisting with hitters, outfielders, and recruiting. During that time, he helped develop numerous all-conference performers and assisted more than 75 student-athletes in earning opportunities to continue their academic and athletic careers at four-year institutions.
A former collegiate player at East Central University, Davis also studied Kinesiology at Huston-Tillotson University after a standout career at Huntsville High School, where he earned First-Team All-District honors and still ranks among the school's career pitching leaders.
Known for his passion for player development and competitive culture, Davis emphasizes accountability, toughness, and preparing student-athletes for success both on the field and beyond. His vision for the Westerners program continues to focus on developing championship-caliber players while building one of the premier junior college baseball programs in the country.
