Westerner Men's Basketball Tryout July 30
Do you want to play for the Westerner Men's Basketball Team? Here's your chance!
Our Westerner Men’s Basketball team is looking to fill 2 roster spots for the 2022-23 season!
On July 30 we will be holding two tryout sessions. We are looking for all positions. The cost for a 3-hour tryout session is $40 (non-refundable). Space is limited, so register as soon as possible!
Session 1: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Session 2: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The tryout will include a half-court breakdown portion, where our staff will coach you and evaluate how well you perform offensively and defensively without transition. The 2nd half of the tryout will consist of timed pickup games, where each team will play 3 mini-games with a running clock.
Coach Hardy and Coach Walton will be evaluating athletes during every aspect of the tryout.
Determination of whether roster spot is walk-on or scholarship is based on the discretion of Coach Hardy and will be discussed with chosen athletes upon invitation to our team.
