Feeney Leads No. 12 Lady Westerners in Weatherford

Weatherford, TX – The No. 12-ranked Lady Westerners golf team traveled to Weatherford to compete in the NJCAA Southwest District Preview over a two-day event.The course Par 72 and yardage of 5,904. 

Odessa College claimed first place with a team score of 595 (303, 292). The Lady Westerners finished fourth out of five teams with a total score of 641 (336, 305), showing strong improvement in the second round.

Caitlin Feeney led the Lady Westerners, finishing tied for 8th with a two-day total of 154 (80, 74).

Lupita Barbosa placed tied for 16th with a score of 160 (83, 77) Barbosa was one under on Par 5s.Brooke Ahn followed closely behind, tying for 18th with a 163 (85, 78). Barbosa and Ahn combined for four birdies during the second round.

Wildah Jarestam finished 22nd, bouncing back from an opening-round 89 to card an impressive 76 on day two.
