Snyder, TX – Western Texas College volleyball concluded its 2025 season on Thursday afternoon, falling to Amarillo College in three tightly contested sets (21-25, 14-25, 23-25).
In the opening set, the Lady Westerners showed grit after trailing 6–11 early. They rallied to take an 18–17 lead before the Badgers surged late to claim the set 25–21.
Set two began evenly, but Amarillo created separation midway through with an 11–4 advantage. Despite a strong defensive effort, Western Texas couldn't close the gap and dropped the set 14–25.
The final set of the season proved to be a back-and-forth battle. The Lady Westerners held a 14–10 lead before Amarillo tied the game at 19. Both teams exchanged points down the stretch, but the Badgers edged out a 25–23 victory to seal the match.
